News: LaKritz-Weber & Company Leases Space at the Shops at Woodward Place

August 6, 2010-Southfield, MI:  LaKritz-Weber & Company, the retail real estate experts, announce a 8,809 square foot lease in The Shops at Woodward Place at 15151 Woodward Avenue in Highland Park, Michigan.  Adam Goodman and Gabe Schuchman of LaKritz-Weber & Company represented the landlord, Woodward Place, LLC in this transaction.  The new tenant is Dollar Tree.

After 18 months of successful leasing efforts by LaKritz-Weber & Company, the signing of this lease brings The Shops at Woodward Place close to full occupancy with a single 1,280 square foot space left. 

Anchored by Aldi, The Shops at Woodward Place is the redevelopment of the former Sears building on Woodward in Highland Park.  The area surrounding the center has a terrific combination of both population and daytime employment which has lead to sales volumes being well above average for urban environments.
