William ("Bill") LaKritz, President & CEO co-founded LaKritz-Weber & Company in 1981. Educated with a B.A. and Secondary Teaching Degree, he majored in communications and history and minored in English. Real estate activities include: From 1968 - 1970 - Principal of L-N Investment Company, acquisition and rehabbing of residential properties. From 1970-1972 Principal of Sherlock Homes, new house construction. From 1972-1981 Associate Broker with American Commercial-Industrial Realty, specializing in chain store leasing, Landlord representation and investment sales. From 1981 to present, partner in LaKritz-Weber & Company. Activities Include: tenant representation of National Retail Chains, Landlord representation, recycling existing shopping centers and large box spaces, and sale of shopping centers. Development activity includes: construction of free standing retail build-to-suits, strip shopping centers and recycling of existing vacant retail buildings. Mr. LaKritz is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as well as a member of ChainLinks Retail Associates. He has been married to Elizabeth since 1970 and together have a son, Gaven and daughter, Elyse. Bill's main interests are his family, communal activity for charitable and religious institutions, travel and golf. Board memberships have included Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Hillel Foundation, Temple Israel Synagogue, B'nai B'rith Foundation, Salvation Army, Detroit Goodfellows, Fresh Air Camp and Jewish Welfare Federation.
