![]() Earnie Dearman, Associate Broker, is a retail real estate specialist with LaKritz-Weber & Company. The focus of his activities are in site selection/acquisition and the analysis and marketing of retail centers and tenant representation in Detroit and out state areas. He has established key relationships with national, regional and local tenants as well as multiple retail center owners to include statewide, national and international real estate investment trusts (REITS) and major financial services firms. He continues to assist ChainLinks Retail Advisors Network in developing long-term strategic relationships and is an active participant in the ChainLinks Hospitality Counsel. Additionally, he has recently assisted in the launch of an National Auto Dealership Evaluation Program (NADEP) to help auto dealers determine their future direction. Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Dearman was a retired executive of Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) with 33 years of experience in general management and information systems leadership. He was actively engaged with a variety of industries to include retail, distribution and automotive manufacturing. He was known for his entrepreneur drive in working effectively with organizations to improve their business performance. Prior to EDS Mr. Dearman held key general management positions with General Mills Inc, Specialty Retail Division. He was also a partner of a residential real estate firm in the state of Illinois. Mr. Dearman has earned a Management Degree that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from the National Louis University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois. He holds Associate Brokers licenses in the states of Michigan, Mississippi and Illinois. Mr. Dearman is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), ChainLinks Retail Advisors and supports a variety of charitable community and religious organizations. He was a former loaned executive for the South Eastern Michigan United Way campaign representing EDS and General Motors Corporation. He has two children and six grandchildren. |
